This Privacy Policy describes how Automate AI LLC ("CONSTRUKTR," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the CONSTRUKTR mobile application ("App") and website at construktr.ai ("Site"). By using our services, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

CONSTRUKTR collects the following types of data. Each is collected to run the product, not for advertising:

  • Name: your name on your account and profile.
  • Email address: for sign-in, receipts, and account communications.
  • Business phone number: for your company profile and the documents you send to customers.
  • Business address: for your company profile, estimates, and invoices.
  • User ID: an internal account identifier that ties your data to your account.
  • Precise location (while using the app): for GPS-verified clock-in and clock-out on the job, and the optional nearby-supplier search. Location is not collected when you are not using these features.
  • Photos: job-site photos, receipts, and document scans you choose to capture or attach.
  • User content: the jobs, estimates, invoices, notes, messages, and signatures you create in the app.
  • Crash data: error and crash reports sent to Sentry so we can fix bugs.
  • Device push token: collected if you allow the notification permission, for push notifications (coming soon) covering jobs, schedules, and payments.

We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not collect advertising identifiers.

2. Device Permissions We Request

The App asks for these device permissions, and only for the reasons listed:

  • Camera: job-site photos, document scanning, and business card capture.
  • Photo library: attach existing photos to jobs and save generated documents.
  • Location (while using the app): GPS-verified clock-in and clock-out on the job, and the optional nearby-supplier search.
  • Contacts (write only): when you tap "Add to Contacts" on a customer, the App saves that customer's card to your device address book. The App never reads or imports your device contacts.
  • Face ID / Touch ID: optional biometric lock for the App. Biometric data never leaves your device; we use the operating system check only.
  • Push notifications: requested for job reminders, schedule alerts, payment notifications, and crew updates once that feature is turned on. Not sending yet.

You may deny any permission; doing so disables only the related feature. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the CONSTRUKTR app and services
  • Process payments and, when you connect it, sync with QuickBooks
  • Generate AI-powered estimates and document analysis from the text and documents you submit.
  • Store the job photos you attach on the job record. AI analysis of those photos is not turned on yet, so a photo you attach is stored and kept, and nothing is run against it.
  • Verify clock-in and clock-out at job sites and produce GPS-verified timesheets
  • Send push notifications for jobs, schedules, and payments, once that feature is turned on
  • Respond to support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share data with these providers only so they can do the jobs described below:

  • Stripe: payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. We never store full card numbers.
  • Anthropic: AI processing. Photos and text you submit for AI features are sent to Anthropic's Claude models for analysis. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
  • Sentry: crash and error reporting so we can fix bugs.
  • SendGrid: transactional email delivery for invoices, notifications, and account communications.
  • Twilio: SMS and voice delivery for job reminders and customer communications.
  • Amazon Web Services: file storage. Every photo, receipt, and document you upload is held in Amazon S3.
  • Railway: hosting for our servers and database.
  • Supabase: holds what you send us through the forms on this website, which is your name, email address, company, phone number, and message, along with the page you sent it from, and it holds any email address subscribed for updates. It also holds sign-in records left over from an earlier version of CONSTRUKTR. It does not sign you in to the product, and your job photos and documents are not kept there. If an old sign-in record still exists for you, we ask Supabase to delete it when you delete your account.
  • Intuit / QuickBooks: accounting sync, only when you connect your QuickBooks account.
  • Apple and Google push services (via Expo): registered for future push notification delivery, not yet sending.
  • Google Maps: mapping, geocoding, and routing features.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Security

We protect your data using:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) for all connections
  • Encryption at rest with our cloud storage providers
  • Role-based access controls inside the product
  • Regular security reviews

No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@construktr.ai immediately.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active so the product works: your jobs, customers, estimates, invoices, timesheets, and photos stay available to you.

When you delete your account, your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo are removed from your record right away, and your profile photo is queued for deletion from our file storage. Business records such as invoices, payments, estimates, jobs, and timesheets are kept, because tax, accounting, and other laws require it, and your name, email address, phone number, and photo are no longer attached to them.

Some records keep more than that. Below are the ones we know of, and we would rather tell you than let you find out later. This is what we have found, not a promise that nothing else remains.

  • Our security audit log records an internal account number, the internet address, and the browser or device that each action came from. We never edit or delete it.
  • Timesheets keep the GPS locations recorded at clock in and clock out, linked to that same internal account number.
  • Job photos and documents you uploaded to your company's jobs stay with those jobs, because they are the company's record of its work. Only your profile photo is removed. The exception is section 7 below, where you are the last person on the account.
  • The records your business keeps about its own customers, including their names, contact details, and job addresses, belong to the business and are not deleted when you delete your own account.

Where we say a file is queued for deletion, we mean the request is carried out shortly afterwards, not that it has already happened at the moment you press the button. If that step does not go through, the rest of the deletion still stands and nothing tells you the file was missed. If you need confirmation that a specific file is gone, email support@construktr.ai and ask.

7. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your CONSTRUKTR account at any time:

  • In the app: open Settings, find the Danger Zone, tap Delete Account, and type DELETE to confirm.
  • On the web: sign in at app.construktr.ai/account/delete and delete your account there. You do not need to install the app.
  • By email: send a request to support@construktr.ai from the email address on your account.

When your account is deleted, you are signed out, your password and sign-in identity stop working, and your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo are removed from your record. A session already open stops working within minutes rather than instantly. Deletion cannot be undone. Business records we are required to keep for legal, tax, and accounting purposes are retained as described in section 6 above.

Two situations change what happens, and both are worth reading before you start. If you are the last active person on your company account, the whole company closes at the same time: every photo and every document your company has ever uploaded is queued for deletion, not only the ones you added, and any active paid subscription is canceled. Because a cancellation can fail without stopping the deletion, check your card statement afterwards and email support@construktr.ai if you are charged again. If other people are still active on your company account and you are its only owner, we cannot delete your account until you make someone else an owner first. 8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: update inaccurate information in your account settings or by contacting us
  • Deletion: delete your account and personal data as described above
  • Opt out of marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

Residents of California and certain other states have additional rights under their state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We honor these requests for all users regardless of state. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@construktr.ai. We respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

CONSTRUKTR is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and you must be at least 18 to hold an account. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
