Delete your account on the web
You do not need to install anything, and you do not need to ask us. Sign in at app.construktr.ai/account/delete and delete your account from that page.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the CONSTRUKTR app.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@construktr.ai from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We process these requests within 30 days.
What happens when your account is deleted
- You are signed out and your password and sign-in identity stop working. A session already open stops working within minutes rather than instantly.
- Your personal information (name, email, phone number, profile photo) is scrubbed and anonymized, and the account cannot be used again.
- Your profile photo is queued for deletion from our file storage. Queued means the request is carried out shortly afterwards, not that it is already done the moment you press the button. If that step does not go through, the rest of the deletion still stands and nothing tells you the photo was missed. If you need confirmation that it is gone, email support@construktr.ai and ask.
- Your record of which help articles and videos you viewed is deleted outright.
- Business records, such as invoices, payments, estimates, jobs, and timesheets, are retained because legal, tax, and accounting rules require it. Your name, email address, phone number, and photo are no longer attached to them.
Deletion cannot be undone. There is no grace period, and afterwards nobody, including us, can restore the account.
What is kept, and what we will not pretend is gone
Some records keep more than the business records above. These are the ones we know of, and we would rather say so plainly than let you find out later. It is what we have found, not a promise that nothing else remains.
- Our security audit log records an internal account number, the internet address, and the browser or device that each action came from. We never edit or delete it, so those entries stay.
- Timesheets keep the GPS locations recorded at clock in and clock out, linked to that same internal account number.
- Job photos and documents you uploaded to your company's jobs stay with those jobs, because they are the company's record of its work. Only your profile photo is removed. The one exception is below, if you are the last person on the account.
- The records your business keeps about its own customers, including their names, contact details, and job addresses, belong to the business. Deleting your own account does not remove them.
If you are the last person on the company account
If nobody else is still active on your company account, the whole company closes at the same time you delete yourself. Every photo and every document your company has ever uploaded is queued for deletion, for every job, not only the ones you added. Once that goes through they cannot be recovered. If it does not go through, nothing tells you, so email support@construktr.ai if you need it confirmed.
Export anything you want to keep before you start. Use Export All Data in Settings, under Data and Privacy. If you cannot reach that screen, email support@construktr.ai and ask for your data before you delete, because once your account is gone you cannot sign in to export anything.
Any active paid subscription is canceled at that point. Two things are worth knowing rather than finding out on your statement. A subscription that is still in its trial, or is paused or behind on payment, may not be picked up by that cancellation. And if the cancellation itself fails, the deletion still goes ahead. So check your card statement afterwards, and email support@construktr.ai if you are charged again.
If you are the only owner and your team is still active
If you are the only owner of a company that still has other active team members, we will not delete your account yet, and nothing is deleted when you try. Make someone else an owner first, or email support@construktr.ai. This exists so a working team is never locked out of its own account. The app and the web page both explain it at the time.
